Service for veterinary surgeons

CT reporting
and surgical consultation

From images to case assessment, supporting clinical decisions and surgical planning.

CleverJoint offers veterinary surgeons a CT image reporting service.

The service is available for CT examinations of the appendicular skeleton in dogs and cats, particularly in cases of suspected malalignment of the pelvic limbs.

01

CT image reporting

The CT examination is assessed using dedicated measurements and supporting images, with particular attention to the anatomy and alignment of the pelvic limbs.

02

Surgical consultation

At the referring veterinarian’s request, the report may be followed by a surgical consultation to assess the possible options for managing the clinical case.

The suggested surgical techniques are selected with reference to scientific evidence and the most up-to-date specialist literature.

The surgical consultation service grew from our experience working with veterinarians who, when requesting a prosthetic implant, expressed the need for a broader assessment of the surgical approach to the clinical case.

For both services, we work with consultants experienced in assessing orthopaedic conditions and planning surgery. In addition to technical analysis of the CT images, consultants contribute their clinical experience gained over years of professional practice.

  • assessment of trochlear groove morphology;
  • measurement of any deviations;
  • images supporting the assessment;
  • specific conclusions for each limb examined;
  • on request, indications regarding possible surgical options.
